Training Schools covering fundamental aspects of SEC science and technology will be organized.
Teaching staff will include top specialists from academia and industry. Training schools will be targeted to Early Career Investigators (ECI) as well as scientists and engineers from industry.
Every effort will be made to find cooperative forms with other research and education initiatives to co-organize training schools..
First Training School in Budapest
Analysis, uncertainty quantification, validation, optimization and reduction of detailed combustion mechanism for practical use of Smart Energy Carriers
The first training school of the SMARTCATs Action was devoted to the “Analysis, uncertainty quantification, validation, optimization and reduction of detailed combustion mechanism for practical use of Smart Energy Carriers”. This is a rather critical issue for the development of effective and thoroughly validated chemical kinetics mechanisms of smart fuels combustion.
The school consisted of morning lectures and afternoon hands-on computer practice sessions.
A session poster aimed at favor the exchange and the setup of networks was organized. The abstracts of the posters presented can be found here.
